With its strikingly contemporary architecture, this beachfront business hotel offers the highest level of comfort and elegance throughout its 369 guestrooms and suites, including the ultimate exclusive lifestyle hotel experience with Fairmont Gold.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful wayMix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelinesHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous bartending experience preferredExcellent knowledge of all beverage productsPrevious point of sale system experience an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa REQUIREMENTS:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Abu Dhabi.
