Key tasks- Provides a friendly and personal welcome for guests and is constantly attentive to their needs- Promotes the bar offer and helps create a good atmosphere- Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty- Takes orders, serves guests and handles cash operations- May have to serve guests located outside the bar, maintains excellent relations with colleagues, particularly with departments close to the bar (restaurant, lobby etc)- Knows all the bar and menu products (preparation instructions)- Manages the stocks and setup for the bar in line with brand standards- Serves guests at the bar, organizing his/her work to suit fluctuations in numbers- Ensures equipment remains in good condition- Communicates and works in close cooperation with the other departments (kitchens, bars, lobby, banquet, restaurant etc)- Is familiar with all the hotels services and informs guests about them- Promotes the bars special offers drinks and full range of products- Creates a friendly atmosphere at the bar- Increases bar revenue through additional sales techniques- Helps meet the departments targets by following the preparation instructions to the letter and using the right doses, by avoiding waste and loss of merchandise and by respecting the hotels procedures and internal audit processes- Helps manage stocks and inventories- Manages invoicing and cash operations for the services sold- Is responsible for the bars cash holdings- Ensures that the workplace remains clean and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations- Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used- Applies the hotels security regulations (in case of fire etc)- Respects the hotels commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc) REQUIREMENTS: SkillsLevel of Education- Bachelor / LicenceAreas of study- Hospitality ManagementProfessional experiences- 1 to 2 yearsLanguages essential- EnglishEssential and optional requirements- HACCP - Micros
