As a Bartender with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and flavours that are hallmarks of our restaurant and lounge experience. Your warm, attentive guest service and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to!Hotel Overview:Located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates with sweeping views of the Gulf known for its natural beauty set against the backdrop of the historic Hajar Mountains. The hotel consists of 180 rooms and residences, along with a marina and beach club.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful wayCreative in the styles of mixing drinks. Control the beverage stock as per guidelinesHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous bartending experience requiredExcellent knowledge of all beverage productsPrevious point of sale system experience an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa REQUIREMENTS:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the United Arab Emirates.
