Employment: Full Time This practice area covers private equity. Private equity law involves negotiating, structuring, and documenting a variety of transactions including fund formations, venture capital investments, control acquisitions of public and private companies, and dispositions of previously acquired companies or investments.Counsel is also used to assist private equity firms with company acquisitions, capital raising and transactions, leveraged recapitalisations, fund dividend payments, and acquisitions funded by debt, also known as leveraged buyouts. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience with private equity and M&A experience. Should preferably have excellent drafting, writing and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, organisational, verbal, interpersonal and project management skills. Experience in drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements and other ancillary transaction documents and otherwise meeting the day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients is expected. Excellent academic credentials and prior large firm experience required.
