Job Description

Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account informationDocument financial transactions by entering account informationRecommend financial actions by analyzing accounting optionsSummarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reportsSubstantiate financial transactions by auditing documentsMaintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and proceduresGuide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questionsReconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationSecure financial information by completing database backupsVerify, allocate, post and reconcile transactionsProduce error-free accounting reports and present their resultsAnalyze financial information and summaries financial statusProvide technical support and advice on managementReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast processProvide input into departments goal setting processPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to scheduleDirect internal and external audits to ensure compliancePlan, assign and review staffs workSupport month-end and year-end close processDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsCommunicate effectively with clientsContribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnelCommunicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise Salary: AED 2,500 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Atleast 2 years of UAE ExperienceVAT Filing and ReconciliationMust be knowledgeable in quickbooksAble to handle multiple accountsAbility to work independentlyHands on experience in accountingPetty Cash and ReplenishmentAccounts Payable/ReceivableLocated in Abu Dhabi is preferred
