You?ll appreciate our supportive atmosphere that makes it safe and so rewarding to ?think big? by working with others.POSITION OVERVIEW:Develops, manages, and/or executes all phases of either the cost control effort and/ or the planning/scheduling effort for one or more of the large, most complex and demanding projects.This level of Project Control Engineer/Specialist draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.Serves in a lead capacity to direct and support all internal project cost control activities and requirements.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • CFT Update, Maintenance, Forecasting and Reporting
  • Develop and Maintain Original Project Budget and Variations
  • Develop and Manage Project WBS for alignment with client reporting and billing requirements and to satisfy the internal corporate cost control system.Code expenditures in alignment with the project chart of accounts.
  • Review cost and assist in identifying variances between actuals and forecasts and budget
  • Prepare ?what if analysis for project budget and forecasts
  • Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
  • Provides project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
  • Lead in the analysis, evaluation, and developing forecast of project costs and performance.
  • Coordinates staffing requirements in alignment with deployment and forecasts
  • Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
  • May lead a staff who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline.
  • Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • May support business development efforts by gathering and presenting a variety of background data.Presentations may be of an informal or formal nature.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
