Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced three (3) Draftsmen (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) to join our technical team in the newly awarded project in Saudi Arabia.Would you like to be part of a dynamic EPC leader with global presence?   • Participates in the development of the ENG drafting standards, proposes improvements and corrections of the drafting procedures, reviews, and comments on project drafting requirements as applicable.
  • Apply CAD software to Civil/Mechanical/Electrical applications to create and plot related drawings suitable for the engineering staff.
  • Interpret, incorporate, and utilize Site Engineering drawing information in the creation of related drawings.
  • Utilize CAD software to perform various analytical tasks and to support Quantity Surveyor?s scope of work.
  • Performs drafting works by computer assisted drafting system (CAD) or, by hand if so required, in accordance with project drafting specifications and ENG quality standards.
  • Ensures that drafting activities are performed on time; determines the causes of any deviation and seeks assistance by his peers whenever required, so that any potential problems or delays are mitigated promptly.
  • Reviews drafting works performed by Engineering Subcontractor and comments their compatibility with project and department drafting standards if so instructed.
  • Establishes a positive relationship with engineers and drafting personnel.
  • Keeps up to date with developments of drafting software and utilities, consistently seeks training and further professional advancement.
  • Ensures that the drawing database is kept abreast, maintained, and accessible to engineering staff.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor?s degree/diploma (highly preferred from a recognized/ reputed University)
  • Diploma in AutoCAD.
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of working experience as Draftsman.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including AutoCad 2022 (2D & 3D), MS Office, Revit, Navis Works.
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English.
