This role offers the opportunity to lead Cybersecurity within a unique government project in SaudiThe candidate will be responsible for setting up a Cybersecurity function from scratch in an exciting start-up environmentClient DetailsOur client is a confidential government entity based in the Tabuk region, and is in stealth start-up mode at the moment.DescriptionThe Cybersecurity Director will set up the Cybersecurity function from scratch. He/she will be responsible for:Developing and executing the Cybersecurity strategy, roadmap and frameworksWorking alongside various departments within the business to enhance cybersecurity awareness and resiliencePlanning the manpower requirements for Cybersecurity, and building the Cybersecurity teamBudget planning for the Cybersecurity functionDelivering the security awareness training programs across the organisationThreat and risk analysis/assessmentsImplementation of cybersecurity controls, systems, policies/procedures, etc.Vulnerability assessments, and recommendations for remediationCybersecurity performance and management reportsCybersecurity governance and compliance, especially adherence to government/non-government regulatory requirements and standardsBeing the cybersecurity expert within the organisationProfileThe successful candidate will be/have:A Saudi nationalA Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study8+ years of Cybersecurity experience, of which at least 2 years must have been in a senior leadership roleRelevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, etc. (preferred)High level of English proficiency (written and verbal)Familiar with cybersecurity regulatory requirements such as NCA, ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.Willing to relocate to Tabuk regionJob OfferAn attractive salary package plus benefits (schooling, bonus, etc.) are on offer for the successful candidate.
