Job Description

Your role @ Chanel The Global Innovation & Transformation (GIT) department part of Global IT team aims to enable CHANEL in delivering an exceptional customer experience through innovative, cross-functional, and customized solutions. The Client & Data department within GIT, is in charge of a major customer data transformation program that aims to: 

  • Offer a deeper client knowledge 
  • Provide a cross boarder client recognition  
  • Enable more relevant international services & experiences 
 Within Client and Data department, the Global Client Data platform program manager supports the Program Management Lead by managing the Pioneer governance and communication activities, elaborating the budget follow-up, and synchronizing with Divisions and Regions.  What impact you can create at Chanel  The Program management officer (PMO) main missions are:   
  • Lead the program IT governance: prepare and coordinate Governance committees (from C-level presentation to regular steering committees with the different entities)  
  • Prepare ad-hoc working sessions with Business and IT relevant stakehoders. 
  • Coordinate Program Stakeholders: Program management, build and run teams, business and legal teams, Regions and divisions, and external partners.  
  • Communicate on Pioneer achievements and status (bi-monthly newsletter) and asset/knowledge Management. 
  • Steer and monitor the program budget forecast and follow-up, as weel as investment request and raise alerts if necessary. 
  • Monitor external resources consumption and forecast  
  • Closely work with the scoping and roadmap manager on functional requirements collection, impact analysis and impact on Pioneer roadmap.  
 The activities described above may not be exhaustive.  This role partners with several internal and external stakeholders, the CHANEL Regions and teams from IT (Regional IT Client managers, global touchpoints owners, Security team and other various IT functions) to support the IT leadership team in a complex luxury retail environment.    You are energized by 
  • Global program management

  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies and environments 
  • Supporting the IT leadership team 
 What you will bring  
  • Bac +5 (University, Engineering school, Business school)  
  • Solid experience (+7 years) on Program Management experience on complex projects with an international span, preferably in B2C, retail, digital and/or e-commerce sectors  
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to express issues to technical and non-technical audiences  
  • Good facilitation and communication skills and overall ease with presenting to audiences with regional and global stakeholders 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple work streams and work well under tight timelines  
  • Fluent in English and French
