Job Description

Your role @ ChanelThe Global Innovation & Transformation (GIT) department part of Global IT team aims to enable CHANEL in delivering an exceptional customer experience through innovative, cross-functional, and customized solutions. The Client & Data department within GIT, is in charge of a major customer data transformation program that aims to:

  • Offer a deeper client knowledge
  • Provide a cross boarder client recognition
  • Enable more relevant international services & experiences
Within Client and Data department, the C360 & Look Up API Product Owner is in charge of global client database and its linked look-up features for all the users (from machine to users)What impact you can create at ChanelThe C360 & Look Up API Product Owner is responsible for satisfying the needs of Client Data platform?s users by leading the delivery of a quality product.Pioneer Look Up Product Owner role
  • Bridge software/integration teams and end users, you can discuss with end-users and application teams with the good level of details to ensure that delivered features are aligned with expectations
  • Collaborate with various production teams (API, Security, Infrastructure, Identity, etc.): To accelerate delivery and deployment, you are a facilitator between all involved actors
  • As project manager, you ensure that the allocated budget and deadline are respected
Pioneer Look Up Product Owner missions
  • Define and communicate about LookUp API?s vision: Close to end-users, you build the product roadmap in terms of functionalities and performances, and you ensure relevant stakeholders to have a clear understanding
  • Manage backlog: You define the content of each version of the LookUp API, and ensure the delivery of the associated functionalities
  • Write user stories: Once you have collected requirements from end-users and business teams, you create user stories as a basis for the development teams
  • Validate features: In close relationship with development teams, you oversee validating delivered features

What you will bring
  • Experience as Product Owner on a digital product, ideally an API or a web application
  • Background in Cloud Architecture, Software development or DevOps
  • Knowledge of deployment in a cloud environment
  • Knowledge of deployment in a Kubernetes environment is a nice to have
  • Knowledge of distributed databases and one of Lucene distributions is a nice to have
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Public speaking and fluent in English and French (verbal and written)
