Senior Lead ? Software Quality EngineeringDescriptionRole Description: Senior QE Leadwill play a key role in the QE department and will be part of a high performing team that will support the Quality Engineering teams deliver high quality deliverables to end users especially meeting quality expectations. This engagement can include ground level testing support, understanding multiple product domain areas, preparing test plans, defining test strategies, understand and raise performance concerns etc.. He/She will have excellent technical, domain and integration knowledge and closely work with development and QE teams.

• Hands on skills in multiple testing tools and technologies including test scripting, test execution and test results analyzing
• Fully understand the delivery model and guide engineers to complete day today activities.
• Ability to analyze and review the code to understand the implementation aspects and integrations
• Ability to analyze the QE challenges and provide the best solution within the expected timelines
• Review scripts and other artifacts to ensure adhering to best practices and defined guidelines
• Research and develop new tools and continuous process improvements for better productivity and QE efficiency.
• Knowledge of cross domains (CurrentGen, NextGen, GLP etc) and integrations
• Ability to learn and new domain and tools within a short time frame
• Collaborate effectively with teams to solve problems and make improvements to deliver end-to-end quality and customer experience
• Have a positive attitude towards the challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional devops teams and support teams
• Ability to multi task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (E.g. Urgent incident support etc.)
• Plan and conduct technical training and development of QE team members

QualificationsEducation, Qualifications and background

• BSc in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
• 2 years experience as QE Lead\Tech Specialist
• Thorough knowledge on Software Quality Assurance and testing.
• Good knowledge in software development, the software development lifecycle and awareness of the industry trends.
• Excellent Analytical, Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to self-learn and grasp the knowledge quickly.
• Good knowledge in Object oriented concepts and simple SQL Queries.
• Basic Knowledge in at least one software development tool
• Ability to express and articulate the subject clearly and accurately
• Ability to carry the right information and right people
• Should have an aptitude in reconciling business requirements with testing requirements with help of other stakeholders.
• Should have good knowledge on Test Management, automation and performance tools and should be able to learn and adapt to new tools.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in practice Agile/Scrum.
• Should have good time management skills and optimistic attitude.
• Should have leadership, coordination, presentation, estimation and evaluation skills.
