Associate Team Lead - Virtualization OperationsDescriptionThe Virtualization Lead position is a senior resource with experience in virtualization infrastructureaspects that focus on leading a team of Engineers on design, configuration, implementation andmanagement aspects of private cloud (virtualized infrastructure) environments that are built onVMware vSphere.In addition, Virtualization Lead should drive his/her team towards achieving overall goals set out bythe Cloud and Hosting Operations Leadership. These may include global projects, milestones, BAUwork related targets, operational targets etc.QualificationsEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience
  • Past experience in high tech environments.
  • Working experience with different stakeholders in multiple geographies.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in Virtualization and two (2) years of additional experience as a Lead/Similar Role.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in AWS technologies.
  • Previous infrastructure/virtualization technical team lead experience.
  • Infrastructure Project coordination, implementation, delivery experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Sound knowledge on VMware vSphere infrastructure stack is mandatory.
  • Overall knowledge of Virtualization/Cloud Technologies such as Hyper-V, AWS, Azure etc.
  • Overall knowledge of Storage Technologies and Concepts
  • Ability to independently learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to advance the development capabilities of the organization
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people and work with a variety of internal and external groups.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work collaboratively with different divisions of the organization to achieve the objectives of the organization.
  • Experience in Agile practices.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • VMware Certifications such as VCP, VCAP
  • ITIL- Foundation
  • AWS Certification
  • Other Vendor Certifications on relevant technologies
