-Opportunity within a company with a solid track record of performance-Leadership RoleOur client established in 2002, has been catering to entire industries like Transportation, Ship Repair & Maintenance, Oil & Gas, Aluminium Plants, Cement Plants, Ports Maintenance and Technical Services, Sugar Packaging, Food, Petrochemical, Desalination, Power, Construction as well as the Fabrication Industry.The JobYou will be responsible for :Overall responsibility and accountability of the conventional machine shop.Plan, direct, and coordinate department activities and resources.Ensure the production plan is adhered to, on-time delivery, and work closely with other departments as required.Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency in the department.Ensure proper care, use, and maintenance of company machinery and assets.Coordinate procedures for equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.Reduce and control instances of quality non-conformities, such as job rejections and rework.Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.Responsible for providing, as needed, technical services, sales, or presentations during the sales process.Acquire comprehensive technical knowledge of products and solutions to establish new business opportunities.Knowledge of a variety of repair techniques for the repair or refurbishment of industrial machinery or rotating equipment used in cement plants, steel mills, and other heavy industries like shipyards, oil & gas, and power generation.Knowledge of lathes and milling machines along with an understanding of their limitations.Experience with repair welding, fabrication, and thorough understanding of weldable materials, and welding processes and procedures.Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.Ideal CandidateYou possess a degree/diploma in Mechanical engineering.You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.You are a strong networker & relationship builderYou are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environmentsYou are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teamsRef: BJF3FA8XM4 Company Profile Snaphunt is a specialist recruiting platform that takes the pain out of hiring and job searching.
