Site Manager - SubstationsJob Location : Sharjah, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities :•Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of high voltage substation construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.•Team Leadership: Supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, electricians, and laborers, fostering a safe and productive work environment.•Compliance: Ensure all work complies with DEWA regulations, local laws, and safety standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals.•Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and risk assessments.•Coordination: Liaise with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.•Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting challenges and proposed solutions.•Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.•Problem Solving: Address any on-site issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.Qualifications :•Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.•Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in managing high voltage substation projects, with a proven track record in a leadership role.•DEWA Approval: Valid DEWA approval for site management of high voltage projects.•Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulations.
