Job Description

Job ObjectiveThis role will aid in delivering the ASSESS / SELECT Stage study, Pre-FEED, Technology/Licensor Screening / Selection within Specialist Engineering & Consulting and the wider organisation in agreement with the Study Manager / Study Lead and in accordance with applicable procedures.˙Responsibilities

  • ?Work on Basic, FEED or detailed engineering design to comply with project requirements.
  • Develop broad and professional process engineering competencies to provide future engineering capacity with the process team.
  • Be accountable for the successful completion of assigned engineering tasks and the preparation of process engineering documents.
  • Expected to perform design activities assigned by Process Lead Engineer
  • Preparing process equipment and instrument-related documents for project requirements within a given time frame. As well as, working with information, and checking for the accuracy of documents.
  • Review design documents/drawings prepared by the design team.
  • Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process software, and procedures and implement them in the day-to-day work.
  • Working together with the process team and carrying out process simulations, adequacy checks of equipment/instruments, sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, heat exchangers, reactors etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets.
  • Performing hydraulic calculations as well as performing necessary pump NPSH calculations
  • Preparing process specifications/Philosophies, and process deliverables such as Process Design basis, PFDs, UFDs, PSFS, HMBs, P&IDS, Line list, Equipment List, Process Data Sheets for equipment, Instrument data sheets, Process Narratives, Process and Control philosophies and Cause & effect sheets
  • Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
