Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a Plastic Raw Material manufacturer in the UAE. Our client is looking for a˙dynamic and experienced Purchase Manager to join their team in the plastic and metal recycling industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the network of suppliers and strengthening relationships with existing clients. This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of prior experience in plastic and metal scrap sourcing, a proven track record of successful scrap procurement, and an established network of clients within the recycling industry.Key Responsibilities:On-Field Scrap Sourcing:- Conduct regular visits to potential suppliers to identify new sources for plastic and metal scraps.- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.Client Relationship Management:- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.- Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide effective solutions.Market Research:- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.- Analyze market conditions and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.Negotiation and Procurement:- Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize procurement processes.Compliance:- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and environmental standards in the sourcing process.- Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to sourcing practices.Reporting:- Provide regular reports on sourcing activities, market trends, and supplier performance.- Utilize data to make informed decisions and continually improve the sourcing process.RequirementsQualifications and Experience:- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plastic and metal scrap sourcing.- Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new sources.- Established a network of clients in the recycling industry.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.- Ability to work independently and thrive in a field-based role.Skills and Competencies:- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting targets.- Self-motivated and able to work independently.- Good organizational and time-management skills.If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in the recycling industry, we invite you to apply.
