Position: Consultant PsychiatristWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a leading mental health institution, we provide comprehensive and personalized treatment to individuals struggling with mental health issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health disorders.Responsibilities:•Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including interviews and mental status examinations, to determine diagnosis and treatment plan•Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients•Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications as needed•Conduct therapy sessions and provide counselling to patients•Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary•Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and treatment options•Attend team meetings and provide input on patient care•Stay current on the latest research, treatments, and developments in the field of psychiatryRequirements:•Medical degree and active Medical Council registration•Completion of specialization in Psychiatry•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues•Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care•In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders, diagnostic criteria, and treatment options•Ability to manage a diverse patient load and prioritize tasks effectivelywe are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and inclusive work environment.
