Job Purpose and ScopeSupervision of shift activities and smooth running of the Plant and proper utilization of Manpower.Main Job Responsibilities1. Ensure set Production targets are met by proper work distribution, co-ordinating and effective Supervision with focus on reducing overtime maximizing output / optimize yield.2. Ensure the total Production Filling activities are regularly completed by end of shift for meeting commitments on time.3. Ensure definite stock level of Intermediate and packing material is maintained for smooth Operations.4. Ensure workers adhere to Instructions / Procedures mentioned on Work Instruction Card; following sequence of material mixing and in specified quantity related to Production and Filling.5. Ensure Process Improvement initiatives are followed and adhered to continuously ( as per Kaizen norms for 5S ).6. Liaison with Assistant Production Manager in Planning, Management System standards like ISO 9000; ISO 14000; 5S etc..7. Ensure Total Production Filling is done regularly and is complete by end of shift.8. Co-ordinate for workforce Leave Management (planning) in consultation with Assistant Production Manager.9. Ensure Health and Safety standard measures are maintained as per Sharjah Municipality and Civil Defense regulations / HSE.10. Responsible and to ensure workers follow instruction to maintain proper housekeeping across the unit.11. Co-ordinate for timely Maintenance Schedules ensuring minimum downtime12. Responsible to maintain ISO, Overtime, Batch Card closing records and relevant documentations13. Ensure instructions to re-use / re-work of old Stocks are followed and implemented regularly to minimize obsolete stock level13. Responsible to check shift closing activities to ensure safety checks are done on a daily basis14. Ensure adherence to PPE usage and other Government regulations are strictly followed
