Job Description

Assist procurement lead to Purchases goods or services for IFFCO Chemicals to use or sell. Ensures quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion. Plays an integral role in ensuring a company sticks to budgets and operates profitably. Also He/she will be liaising between internal departments and suppliers, analyzing and comparing product samples, and negotiating procurement contracts.Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO?s vision & values.
  • Determining supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
  • Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
  • Sourcing suppliers and testing product samples.
  • Documenting the features and benefits of products and services.
  • Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by managers.
  • Negotiating favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers.
  • Documenting processes and generating monthly supply cost reports.
  • Monitoring the companys demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
  • Keeping abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.
  • Drive value creation through the strategic sourcing of transportation services
  • Support transportation operations and sales to optimize the transportation network and develop proposals for service, capacity and cost improvements
  • Responsible for filing and managing freight claims
  • Collaborate with transportation operations to develop and maintain strategic carrier relationships and transportation performance reporting
  • Collaborate and foster trusting relationships with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the transportation service
  • Perform routine audits and exception reviews regarding carrier invoice management
  • Performs other duties as assigned
