Responsible for producing deliverables such as˙HSE design basis, Fire Protection / F&G philosophies, Fire fighting equipment specifications,˙P&ID, layouts, datasheets, hazardous area schedule, fire proofing schedule, fire and gas mapping, F&G layout, F&G Causes and Effects, performing firewater hydraulics, surge analysis, sizing fire water pump, designing deluge and spray system, gas suppression systems, water mist systems, Safety and life-saving equipment, etc.
Organize and participate in workshops such as HAZID, ENVID, OHID, HAZOP,˙˙RAM, SIL, Bow-Tie, SCE PS, ALARP, PHSER, and SIMOPS
Provide inputs like spacing, building locations, fireproofing requirements, blast requirements, sterile distance, stack or vent height, Hazardous Area Classification, Fire and Gas detector locations, etc.
Coordinate with other discipline and work center engineers and ensure that the HSE requirements and study recommendations are implemented in the project design.
Prepare and review inquiry requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions for specialist studies as well as safety and firefighting equipment.
Responsible for coordination with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants who are assigned to perform specialized studies, 3rd˙party certifying agencies, consortium partners, subcontractors, other discipline engineers, and the project team.
Monitor the schedule and ensure the project design activities are completed within the allotted manhours and schedule.
Arrange or participate in FAT, SAT, and the commissioning of fire protection and safety systems.
Support the construction and commissioning field queries with a justification note and calculations.
Review and approve vendor documents and ensure the timely delivery of the documents.
Participating in cross-functional and inter-office meetings to provide design input to the engineering team.
