Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities.

  • Hands on experience with SIEMENS PLC (WINCC) and ABB PLC hardware and HMI / Logic programming.
  • Hands-on Experience in developing HMI graphics/logics related to Primary equipment monitoring and control, Load shedding &Synchronization etc.
  • Hands on Experience in configuration of Controllers, Protocol Gateways, Data Concentrators on various communication protocols.
  • Hands on experience on multi-vendor IED Engineering and commissioning in electrical protection relay applications.
  • Hands on Experience in working with various manufacturer IEDs on IEC 61850 Protocol in creating *.IEC, ICD, CID, SCD Files.
  • Hands on Experience in control philosophy for utility substations.
  • Work with detailed design, system integration and test-based development
  • Perform HMI and SCADA verification of our control systems ? executed in test rooms and on-site.
  • Working Knowledge on Utility Communication Protocols like IEC61850, OPC, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 101,104, TCP/IP, Prefabs, Profinet, Fieldbus, SPA.
  • Work with our station interface, both locally and remote
  • Engineering and testing of NCC interface. Prepare test protocols for SA-systems.
  • Hands on Experience in producing documents ranging from Pre to Detailed Engineering, System Testing (FAT & IFAT) for above mentioned systems.
  • Hands-on experience in Application Engineering tool with any of the SAS
  • Current knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
  • Hands on Cyber security practices and requirements
  • Train and support the organization in applying a new HMI and SCADA solution in our delivery projects.
  • Hands on Experience in designing substation network architecture, Hardware, software and Test Experience of any SAS (SEL or GE or SCHNEIDER or ABB or SIEMENS or COPA DATA) preferred
