Job Description

Overview of the role:To deal with the inspection, diagnosing and repair of Electric Vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools to identify the source of problems and repair vehicles using Fix It Right process, to provide unique customer experience in order to improve customer retention in compliance with OEM (EV Brand Corporation) standards. What you will do:

  • Diagnose complex system faults on Electric Vehicles, through to preventative maintenance
  • Support, coach and guide other members of the team in the workshop by advising diagnosis procedures and efficient / correct work procedures
  • Ensuring quality by producing extremely low level of return jobs
  • Developing high level of communication by ensuring clear explanation of the work completed or required is well documented and clear to understand by Service Advisor, Technical Advisor, Technical Support and the Customer.
  • Undertake great effort to improve efficiency by providing constructive inputs regarding work process, procedure, work environment, tools and equipment etc.
  • Making safe electric vehicles to be worked on by junior technicians
  • Provide technical input to spare parts staff to assist in correct part and tooling identification and supply
  • Maintain safe working environment for anyone work on or near electric vehicles, working closely with HSSE and providing recommendations as required
