Ensure management of production facility and staff to meet the customer demand on time and in full by ensuring all the HSE, Quality, Cost and Efficiency is met.
To Coordinate with planning & purchase teams and ensure the production deadlines are met in a smooth and steady manner.
Ensure all technical aspects of production are performed fully in compliance with group policies and procedures and in line with the ISO requirements.
Monitor and improve plant performance by suggesting and mapping the cost-effective improvement activities.ÿ
Key Tasks
Actively plan and participate in the execution of the daily production plan in a timely manner.
Ensure the Job cards are available and verified in a timely manner for an accurate completion of jobs.
Ensure the Production jobs are complete and reported in the ERP system in a timely manner.
Coordinates with the production planner for the effective batch planning to meet the delivery commitments to customers.
To continuously focus on the 5S activities in the plant and plan the improvement activities time to time.
Feedback to the respective line manager and the planning team in case of any deviations in the plan execution lined by an alternative plan.
To actively participate in maintaining and improving the OEE of the plant.
Ensure the SOPs are strictly followed by the shopfloor team in line with the operations.
Support the HSE team in the risk assessment activities and establish the necessary Risk mitigation plans.
Highlight deviations in the policies and procedures in a timely manner and take necessary steps to prevent in the future.
Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure the Quality approvals at the right time for a smoother operation.
Analyse the Quality parameters in the paint production such as FTR?s, Yield, Batch Optimizations, etc, and raise the improvement activities.
Actively participate in the lab scale up batches and record the process for daily operations by highlighting the risks/improvements if any.
Ensure the necessary equipment required for the operations are available in a timely manner to execute the production plan.
Actively monitor and allocate the machinery for preventive maintenance as guided by the maintenance team.
Log the job requests to the maintenance team and track to ensure the machinery availability for production operations.
Ensure the packing & movement of goods to warehouses is inline with the process and procedures.
Cross verifies the goods movement to warehouse to ensure proper packaging and goods in perfect condition.
Executing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Assign workers and other staff to required production operations.
Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
