Job Description

  • Conduct riding sessions with students (Children/Adults) one at a time or in groups
  • Showing beginners how to get on a horse and how to control it
  • Improve the riding techniques of more experienced learners
  • Lead individual/ groups of riders on treks in desert
  • Teach riders how to care for horses and how to look after equipment
  • Ensure that horses are fed, watered, groomed and exercised, and that stables are mucked out (cleaned)
  • Training horses to ensure that they are ready for riding sessions
  • Ensure that Safety measures are adhered to during training sessions.
  • Carrying out other duties, such as planning riding lessons, supervising staff, ordering supplies and maintaining records.
