Job Description

As a Graduate Lighting Designer at WSP ME, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of cutting-edge lighting solutions for diverse projects in the region. Collaborating with experienced professionals in the field, you will play a vital role in developing your skills and gaining hands-on experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptual Design: Participate in the creation of innovative lighting concepts and strategies that align with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Lighting Analysis: Conduct lighting calculations, simulations, and assessments to optimize lighting designs for efficiency and visual impact.
  • Design Development: Work alongside senior lighting designers to develop detailed lighting plans, layouts, and specifications for a variety of projects.
  • Fixture Selection: Assist in the selection of appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and equipment to achieve desired aesthetic and technical outcomes.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including lighting schedules, cut sheets, and technical drawings.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate lighting into overall project plans.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during the installation and commissioning of lighting systems to ensure they meet design specifications.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable lighting practices to contribute innovative ideas to projects.
