Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, transport, and store materials within our facility. The Forklift Operator will play a key role in maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of products.Responsibilities : Safely and proficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area. Transport goods to designated locations using safe and efficient techniques. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, or shelves, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement. Handle fragile or hazardous items with care, following established guidelines. Assist in the organization and tracking of inventory by accurately updating records and reporting any discrepancies. Assist in conducting periodic inventory checks as required. Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety guidelines for forklift operation. Conduct routine checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of goods. Maintain accurate documentation related to forklift operations, including inventory records, logbooks, and incident reports. Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring that aisles and pathways are clear for safe movement of the forklift and personnel. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts and efficient operations. Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on forklift operation best practices and safety regulations. Follow UAE regulations and guidelines pertaining to forklift operation.Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid UAE forklift operator license/certification. Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong understanding of forklift operation techniques, safety practices, and equipment maintenance. Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions. Physical capability to operate a forklift and perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and maneuvering. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings, if required.
