Design EngineerJob Location : Sharjah, United Arab EmiratesResponsibilities:•Design pressure vessels and related components following ASME standards (Section VIII Div 1 ) and other applicable codes.•Develop detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD software.•Perform calculations for pressure, stress analysis, and material selection to ensure the integrity and safety of the design.•Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet production requirements.•Preparation of BOM as per job specifications.•Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly to resolve any design-related issues.Competency requirements:•Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.•Advanced knowledge of ASME codes (specifically ASME Section VIII Div 1) is essential.•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the design of pressure vessels or related ASME-certified equipment.•Experience in stress analysis, pressure rating, and material selection for pressure vessels.•Proficiency in 2D, 3D CAD software and SolidWorks.•Knowledge of pressure vessel design software such as PV Elite is a plus.•Excellent communication skills in english, both written and verbal.
