Job Description

Location: Sharjah, UAEIndustry: Manufacturing (Diesel Generators)Reports to: Finance Manager/General ManagerPosition OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our manufacturing company specializing in diesel generators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, managing accounting staff, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management

  • Supervise and manage all financial and accounting operations.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and company objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Conduct cost analysis and control, focusing on manufacturing and operational expenses.
General Accounting
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure reconciliations of bank accounts, payables, receivables, and inventory.
  • Prepare and monitor VAT submissions in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Oversee payroll processing and employee benefit accounting.
  • Must have strong knowledge in Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting
Auditing and Compliance
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and local laws.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance internal controls.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure the team meets deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, for financial insights and decision-making.
  • Branch coordination experience for financial operations in multiple branches
