1. JOB DETAILS:Position Title: Technician II, ElectricalBroad Band: M04: General supportTalent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:Provide supervised technical support to maintenance/operations managers and engineers with respect to practical application of technical solutions3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Qualification: National Technical/Engineering DiplomaExperience: Min 3 Year relevant experienceSkills: * Safety awareness and attitude* General knowledge of engineering principles and technologies* Sound understanding and workable knowledge of Maths and Science principles* Attention to detail* Basic awareness of value chains and business processes* Drive and tenacity* Theoretical understanding of technical data processing and reporting* Effective writing and reporting skills* Workable knowledge and basic competence in fundamental statistical analysis* Effective time management, planning and organising skills (own time and work)* Coping with pressures and setbacks* Basic knowledge of applicable HSE legislation and regulations* Curious and innovative* Ability to adapt and respond to change4. Develop familiarisation and broad basic knowledge of standard maintenance practices and procedures, practices and equipment in order to correctly apply acquired skills* Undertake simple technician tasks, under close supervision and specific work direction, ensuring compliance with craft standards and timely completion* Ensure that tools and resources and systems procedures are in place to address maintenance requirements in his area of responsibility* Ensure tools and equipment are used in compliance with specifications and that they are maintained in optimum condition to prevent unnecessary interruptions to work programs and to protect the value of the affiliates assets* Ensure that the workplace is kept in a clean state and that all work is carried out in full compliance with approved HSE procedures. Collect data related to vibrations, speed, temperature, flow etc. in order to enable analysis of the equipment?s conditionLeadership1.
