Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONTo provide quality, professional and profitable after-sales support to the Emerson customer base in Middle East & Africa for Emerson Final Control products in Saudi Arabia Based in Jubail and responsible for acquiring technical data and critical dimensions of control valves and associated equipment at customer sites safely, throughout the Middle East in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate information collected with support from engineering teams to select and or design suitable mounting kits. You will be customer focused and have a strong mechanical ability and understanding of engineering drawings and design. Have previous experience and or knowledge of control and automated valves, Digital valve controllers and associated equipment. Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Dedicated to providing safe and high standard of field service support.
  • Responsible for engineering, including troubleshooting
  • Visit customer sites as instructed to collect required information for successful field instrument installation and support
  • Work closely with Sales & Engineering team to select/design suitable instrument and accessories mounting kits for control valve and On/Off valves
  • Maintain a database to record all technical data and measurements of control valve and Actuator type and Size.
  • Be the trusted advisor for end user in suggesting best installation and mounting solutions for reliable operations
  • Proactively identify Service / Product opportunities and assist the sales pursuit
  • Provide feedback and recommendation on design improvements to Emerson technical Support team
  • Constantly try to improve the companys performance towards higher customer service standards and improve financial performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment(s) and adhering to all Emerson & Customer policies as well as OSHA
  • Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
  • Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
  • Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees where requested.
  • Interface with product engineers, representatives, suppliers.
  • Perform any other tasks as and when assigned
What do I need to be considered for this role
  • Qualified in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Instrumentation).
  • Strong field service background and solid experience with Fisher products & instrumentation.
  • CAD software (Solid works)
  • Solid technical skills
  • Clear and effective written and spoken communications in English with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
  • Excellent documentation & writing skills
  • Effective communications in English written and verbal
