An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Scientist II, TechnologyManagement & Licensing within the function of Corparte techniology - Technology and Invoation Center Locatedin Jubail City - Saudi Arabia.Job Summary:Tasnee is seeking a highly self-motivated individual for Technology Management and Licensing (TML) activities for its petrochemical business. This is a position in the TML that will interface with T&I, manufacturing, and business departments. Candidates should have expertise in petrochemical technologies and products. These should include a solid understanding of managing technologies, improvement on their operations and reducing on operational costs, and evaluating new opportunities. The successful candidate will Interact with Production Units, Interact with Licensors, Conduct Technology Screening, Technology updates, Manage Technology Exchange Meetings, Technical Service Agreements, Technologies agreements, Initiate Ideas for technology improvements, and Licensing to third party. Excellent collaborative skills across functional areas is a must. SCIENTIST ROLE

• Interacts with Production Units and Collaborates with the cross functional teams within the entire organization.
• Interacts with Licensors for Technology Exchange Meetings, improvements and developments, Technical Service Agreements, and Technologies agreements.
• Conducts Technology Review and Screening studies for the Technology updates and to Initiate Ideas for technology improvements.
• Creates a framework and plans for the technologies, that will contribute to maximize the output and sustain the competitive advantages.
• Creates know-how package for Licensing to third party.
• Develops and review study proposals, manages and/or coordinates workflow on projects.
• Provides input and makes recommendations to research strategies and projects.
• Executes research study in accordance with the project T&I strategy and timelines including financial management of the project.
• Provides periodic status reports regarding projects timelines, projects achievements, budget issues, etc. to the management as requested.
• Supports Petchem T&I initiatives and Petchem process improvements.
• Supervises technical staff, including work assignments and performance and development management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• An advanced degree in chemistry, materials science or engineering, or a related major scientific or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five or more years of direct industrial experience in Petrochemicals processes and chemistry.
• A highly motivated self-starter who can think independently yet work as a team player.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with diverse groups of people at various levels.
• Ability to meet deadlines and budgets while being flexible to changes in priorities.
• Knowledge of patent filing.
• Good project execution skills and technology management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment and procedures for petrochemicals production will be considered.
• Able to multi-task and coordinate various simultaneous projects.
• Work independently to manage projects, report, and present work in presentation and written format.
