Job Description

Role Description:The Specialized PMO Manager - Construction is responsible for leading and managing construction projects ensuring their successful completion within budget, schedule, and quality parameters. ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices. collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, equipment suppliers and clients, to deliver projects that meet technical requirements and achieve project objectives. The Specialized PMO Manager - Construction plays a pivotal role in ensuring project success, maintaining safety standards, and fostering collaboration among project teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, considering technical requirements, design specifications, and construction methodologies. - Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project schedules, resource requirements, and budget allocations. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, foremen, and construction personnel Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members, ensuring their understanding of technical requirements and project goals. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately, while monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback. 3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives. Conduct regular meetings and communication sessions to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations. Manage and resolve conflicts or issues arising from project activities or technical aspects of project, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.4. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control measures are in place. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor contracts from technical perspective, ensuring compliance with project requirements and budgetary constraints. 5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing risk management strategies and contingency plans. Monitor and address safety hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet established standards and specifications.6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, technical drawings, specifications and other relevant records. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements. Collaborate with project controls and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping procedures.Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related technical field (Masters degree preferred). Extensive experience in project management within the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on technical aspects. 3-5 years experience managing construction projects or was involved whether on site or from design side of the construction project. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, technical specifications, codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, including technical coordination and quality assurance. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills . Proficient in project management software and tools. Sound understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance processes. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is desirable. Willingness to work on-site and travel as required by project locations mainly Shaqra as two-three days will be in Shaqra and the remaining days in Riyadh every week.
