Job Description

Sihamco Group is currently seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef with expertise in Arabian cuisine to join our team. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create and deliver exceptional Arabian dishes that showcase traditional flavors and techniques. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while ensuring the highest level of quality in our dishes.Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute menus focused on Arabian cuisine
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient food production
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Arabian dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
  • Monitor portion control and minimize food waste
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Stay updated on new Arabian culinary trends and techniques
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Arabian cuisine
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for Arabian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Excellent culinary skills and ability to create authentic and flavorful Arabian dishes
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
