Requirements:Degree status in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 15- years experience after graduation & working in the faculty of Maintenance & Repair of large modern buildings. Responsible for the operational maintenance and repair services including planned and routine servicing of equipment, buildings and elevator facilities, hydraulics & plumbing; and where necessary repair of equipment to prescribed standards; and ensuring that all work meets set quality assurance standards.Experience in Asset Management & conversant with equipment condition surveys and extensive knowledge of maintenance programs and strategies.The following specific skills will be ideal for this responsible appointment:Leadership qualities.Ability to read technical drawings and know commissioning procedures.Ability to work to standards / regulations set by applicable local and federal codes & agencies.Verbal ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, organize and delegate.Have problem solving capability.Ability of multi-tasking.Managing multiple workshops & a team of Supervisors.
