We provide maintenance ofRoyal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a trainingenvironment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supportingthe Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training anddevelopment of Saudi National capability through the growth of the SaudiNational Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation andPartnerships.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESThe Senior Depth Off Aircraft MaintenanceManager is responsible for leading all Depth Maintenance Management activities atTaif and Al Kharg associated withthe delivery of an integrated set of maintenance services through the SalamSupport Solution Contracts to meet both RSAF Operational requirements andMODSAP requirements defined through the MODSAP Back-to-Back Contracts. This encompasses the delivery of a costeffective and safe maintenance service which meets the RSAF s Operationaldemands, meets the agreed Solution Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managementof Maintenance Authorisations, and consolidation of RSAF staff and SN PCtrainees within the BAE Systems Service Delivery elements of the SupportSolution.Through the Taif Service Teamproviding a controlled environment to manage all risks associated with meetingthe Depth Maintenance requirements within the timescales, quality standards andbudgets set for the project.The Job Holder will represent BAESystems Saudi Arabia on all depth maintenance support solution matters relatingto the Taif/Al Kharg Service implementation with ourPartners, Product & Service Providers and Sub-Contractors through managingthe strategic interfaces.The Job Holder will be required tohold a level of delegated Maintenace responsibility and will be responsible forensuring that the appropriate engineering processes and assurance are appliedconsistently and effectively across the contracted activities in line with theSalam Engineering Management System. TheJob Holder will be required to demonstrate that they have the required level ofknowledge and experience to support their appointment being endorsed by theHead of Maintenance Typhoon and Head of M&CA Surveillance and Compliance.RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION?Ensure the safe and effective delivery of the Taif/Al Kharg based MaintenanceSolution & Continuing Airworthiness Management System(MCAMS) contained within the Salam BMS.?Develop and maintain an agreed Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness Management Plan definingthe maintenance solution, people, supporting plans and processes which are deployedat Taif and Al Kharg to meet the requirements defined in the Salam Maintenance& Continuing AirworthinessManagement Plan (MCAMP).?Ensure that the maintenance organization works withinthe scope of the agreed Salam MOE and that the MOE reflects accurately the maintenanceorganisation currently in operation.?Ensure that all maintenance responsible post holderswithin the Taif/Al Kharg organisation are suitable qualified and experiencedpractitioners, that they are current in their field, and with their appointmentendorsed in line with the requirements in the MCAMP.?Ensure that all maintenance is carried out inaccordance with the Approved Maintenance data, engineering standards andpractices.?Develop and maintain a set of Maintenance Performance Metrics to support the costeffective deployment of the Maintenance solution including Consolidation ofRSAF Staff.?Responsible as a Cost Account Manager for theMaintenance operation performance at Taif and Al Kharg.?Ensure that any maintenance related risks have beenhighlighted to the business through the Salam Risk and Opportunity ManagementSystem.?Ensure that any non-compliances with the Salam MCAMPand/or tailoring of the Maintenance solution have been agreed with the Head of Maintenance& Compliance.?Ensure that any issues with the RSAF RFL have beenhighlighted to the Head of Maintenance & Head of Engineering & Compliancefor resolution.?Ensure that all maintenance is carried out inaccordance with the Approved Maintenance data, engineering standards andpractices. Where any data integrityissues are found with the Approved Data ensure that these have been formallyrecorded/highlighted to the Approved Data originator and/or escalated throughthe Head of Engineering & Compliance.?Ensure that the Taif/Al Kharg Maintenance Organisationhas sufficient appropriately qualified/competent staff, together with theprovision of any necessary maintenance staff training, to maintain competenceand currency.?Ensure that the competence of all maintenance staff,including management, has been assessed and that the associated engineeringauthorisations are in place.?Promote an appropriate safety reporting cultureensuring that there is a proactive and systematic hazard analysis, documentedthrough the Operations Safety Case and supporting Hazard Log, supporting theongoing maintenance operation.?Provide specialist maintenance guidance to the RSAF includingwhere activities are likely to prejudice the safe and effective delivery of themaintenance solution.?Planning and implementing maintenance supportactivities required to meet RSAF Operational requirements includingdeployments.?Supporting briefings, at all levels, inside andoutside the Company relating to the safe and effective delivery of theMaintenance Solution at Taif and Al-Kharg.This can take the form of verbal, presentation and/or written briefings.?Ensure that a Just and Fair Culture is embeddedwithin the Maintenance Organisation at Taif and Al Kharg to support theeffective resolution of issues which may affect the safe delivery of themaintenance solution.?Support any Acceptance Activities across the SalamProject associated with the delivery of the Maintenancesolution.?Support the effective functionaldevelopment of all Depth Off Aircraft Maintenancestaff.?Day to day direction of any direct reports and theirsupporting staff ensuring that the appropriate quality standards are adheredto.
