PURPOSE The purpose of Risk based inspection strategy is to improve plant reliability and to optimize inspection intervals based on site-acceptable risk levels and operating limits, while mitigating risks as appropriate. Hence to carry out a detailed study of existing RBI related equipment and their reliability as well as operational performance concerns. Then, incorporate the best parts from existing reliability programs and build upon them to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the assets. The study shall aim to identify key issues affecting those equipment including asset reliability and integrity, premature failures, inspection costs, replacement costs and operational performance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ? Maintain RBI KPIs ? Act as a power user/facilitator in the team to conduct RBI analysis. ? Conduct audit for documentation and implementation in Meridium as per RBI standard. ? Provide the needed data to support any technical query/evaluation (e.g. RCA, EHSS List review) from Engineering or related department or for any other initiatives such as SHEM award, SRRP?etc. ? Coordinate between RBI power users and SABIC MCE leaders. ? Coordinate RBI recommendation approvals and implementation with RBI working teams and steering team. ? Liaise with SABIC in the following areas: ? MCE RBI methodology requirement. ? System improvement and initiatives. ? Coordinate with SABIC MCE Meridium issues. ? KPIs (key indicators that this role would be accountable for) o EHSS goals / EHSS KPIs o RBI KPIs o RBI Programs/workshops o Customer satisfaction o IDP attainment ? Problem solving/Decision making (other context describing complexity of role, problem solving, decision making) ? Application of core thinking skills for analyzing production and reliability data (for example, Cause & Effect diagram & Root Cause Analysis method) to solve existing & future problems. ? Evaluating identified solutions and delivering desired results by making judgments and confirming accuracy (for example, using standards /setting standards / brain storming techniques, policies and procedures) ? Employing creative thinking (for example, brain storming) and looking at solutions for resolving job problems in an innovative way ? Applying reasoning skills to arrive at a decision (for example, using PMI tool to solve complex issues).? Depending upon various situations, a reasonable amount of freedom exists for the jobholder to take a decision to improve the effectiveness in his work area. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES ? This RBI strategy & data shall be conducted under ASSET Engineering dept. ? TML & Inspection data related shall be conducted under Inspection dept. ? Contractor shall be solely responsible for all data validation related to RBI & TML all input data. ? Contractor shall provide time duration to accomplish whole RBI strategy study & TML. ? Engineering Consultant shall provide the following deliverables. o To submit the corrosion report based on assessment. o To submit RBI Study & TML improved equipment list and summery for assessment of equipment and piping report. o Weekly report
