SummarySupports implementation of the strategic plan for the assigned section, under the supervision of the designated individual.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Collects data from medical records and other sources, analyses data, prepares and presents reports for the assigned section inclusive of summary of the information, trending of the data with graphical presentation and recommendations.2. Participates in PI teams for PI project and activities. Validates and documents the accuracy of collected data for performance improvement activities and for decision support data.3. Processes incidences reported in the Safety Reporting System (SRS) and performs required investigations including the conduction of root cause analysis of actual and potential serious/sentinel events in the organization.4. Maintains databases related to the assigned section.5. Perform clinical responsibilities within related specialty such as (Nursing, Laboratory, Respiratory, Pharmacy, etc.) as assigned.6. Participates in committees and taskforces as assigned.7. Conducts educational sessions relating to assigned section and quality, safety and customer services related education as assigned.8. Participates in implementing Quality Management and Quality Improvement programs.9. Follows all hospital related Policies and Procedures.10. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.11. Performs other related duties as assigned.EducationBachelors Degree or Associate/Diploma Degree in Nursing, Quality, HealthCare related discipline is required.Experience RequiredFour (4) years of health care related experience in a tertiary facility with Bachelors or six (6) years with Associate/Diploma Degree is required.Other Requirements(Certificates) Risk Management (CPHRM) or other related Healthcare Quality certificate is preferred. Specific certification in the assigned section is preferred.
