Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a highly experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager with significant facilities management education market sector experience. It shall develop and lead a team of procurement office professionals to ensure BEC is fully supported with best-in-class service providers to ensure it meets its obligations specifically referred to in the Facilities Management Agreement.Reporting directly to the Project Director, and an essential member of the Senior Management Team, the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing sourcing strategies for the provision of specialist service providers and material supplies in accordance with annual budgets.It will develop effective request for proposal/invitation to tender documentation, developing supplier/proposal evaluation criteria. It shall lead all negotiations with potential service providers/suppliers, recommending contract awards, and the issuance of all service and supply contracts, and ensuring an effective handover is provided to the operational team.Other Requirements

  • Outstanding demonstrable evidence of leading a procurement and supply chain management team.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the supplier market in both Jeddah and Mecca cities.
  • Experience of working within a PPP Contract and/or GCC Educational sector.
  • Strong communication skills being fluent in English and Arabic preferred
  • Computer literate with a solid working knowledge with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience working with MERX, JDEdwards, PeopleSoft, E1 is preferred.
  • Experience in the public sector and in particular educational establishments is preferred.
