They are urgently seeking 1x experienced Payments Architect for the bank on a long-term basis.Role BriefThe incumbent will be a technical resource with in-depth technical, architecture and solutions knowledge and broad understanding of payments, Intl remittances, RTGS, ACH and real time payments.Key Accountabilities1.Design and refactor the companys payment services platform2.Contribute to overall architecture and design, working closely with the enterprise architect3.Hands on development, plus contributing to the overall software life cycle including participating in code reviews, setting coding standards and introducing new technologies to the team4.Work with quality assurance and developers to ensure software builds meet system, functional and performance requirements and adhere to corporate polices such as security and privacy5.Participate in the design and planning of enhancements to existing products and development of new products6.Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as in an agile development environment7.Drive solution design and innovation within team and company8.Review and validate technical design documents from vendor (s) against given functional requirements.9.Document technical requirements, artifacts and flows10.Provide in-depth hands-on experience of working and implementing payments solution11.Develop and manage system changes12.Facilitating technical discussions between business, vendor and testing teams13.Recommend workarounds with impact analysis14.Manage system environments, configurations, architecture artifactsSkills, Knowledge and Experience1.Strong skills and knowledge of relational database design and development2.Must have a solid background in Transaction Processing and/or Payment Systems, preferably within the Payments SWIFT, and ACH realms3.Must have a solid understanding of Services-Oriented Architecture, micro-services Architectures4.Hands-on experience of working with SWIFT, ACH and Instant Payments will be highly desirable5.Should have knowledge about Encryption, Decryption, Tokenization and HSM, signatures, API and 3rd parties integration.6.Experience with PCI Compliance and local regulations preferred7.Understanding of the release management and software development lifecycles8.MS/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred, or sufficient comparable experience9.Should have complete knowledge of the Payments transactions lifecycle of each of the abovePreferred Attributes:1.Stakeholder engagement2.Conflict management, negotiating and influencing
