Job Description

We are looking for Occupational Health and Wellbeing Specialist to be based in Jeddah.The Occupational Health and Wellness Specialist will have the following responsibilities:Provide general health advice and recommendation to visit a doctor or clinic in case of any concerns

  • Be a point of contact for the collection and monitoring of health questionnaires for new staff
  • Maintain records for annual medicals for staff over 50 in remote locations and be the point of contact to support with any subsequent recommendations
  • Provide fitness advice to staff in terms of exercise and diet advice to promote a healthy lifestyle
  • Help with weight loss and maintaining a healthy body weight
  • Act as a point of contact for staff who need a chat about work or home related problems
  • Provide food and diet advice and support to stay healthy
  • Promote positive mental health campaigns on site and in offices
  • Take blood pressure and advise on actions where concerns are identified
  • Take blood sugar readings as part of health awareness campaigns
  • Help staff that are stressed/anxious, signpost staff to relevant resources such as EAP Provide support to staff on sleep techniques and ideas to improve relaxation
  • Counselling and support for staff trying to give up smoking
  • Support senior operational management within the geography covered in conducting leadership tours and providing advice and support on HSE
  • Work closely and liaise with the group Wellbeing Manager on wellbeing themes and initiative
  • Support the Middle East Wellbeing committee
  • Run campaigns in the region on wellbeing ideas and initiatives for staff e.g. blood donation, dietary campaigns.
