Job Description

SummaryPlans and supervises the operation of all Transportation Services required by the Hospital.Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Preparesschedules of all Transportation Operation Services and allocates vehicles tomeet transportation services required by the Hospital.
  2. Oversees the transportationactivities and schedules to assure optimum utilization of resources.
  3. Ensures that vehicles andequipment are operated and maintained properly.
  4. Ensures that safe driving performanceis practiced and observed.
  5. Establishes and implementsquality assurance and quality control program.
  6. Ensures that the utilizationof manpower, and vehicles is justified and cost effective.
  7. Evaluates performance.Counsels employees to improve their performance and recommends disciplinary actions.
  8. Ensures the development andimplementation of training plans, and priorities the training according to the Hospitalstandards requirements.
  9. Assists in interviews andselection of service providers.
  10. Ensures that the files andrecords for all related documents to the transportation (i.e. eachvehicle/equipment, purchasing documents, traffic registration license,insurance coverage, assignments, abuses and accident reportsetc.) aremaintained.
  11. Assists in the planning andbudgeting of the assigned service.
  12. Advises on changes indepartmental policies and procedures. Ensures that policies and procedures are written,updated, approved and implemented.
  13. Maintains and submits records andreports of operation activities.
EducationMasters or Bachelors Degreein Business Administration or other related discipline is required.Experience RequiredOther Requirements(Certificates)
