Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.Partner with the bestAs a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product requirements.
  • Reviewing contract documentation and customer specifications, to provide best cost optimized and feasible solutions.
  • Creating detailed design documentation for machine monitoring, protection, and conditioning management systems.
  • Delivering assigned tasks on time.
  • Interact frequently with customers, suppliers, and cross functional teams.
  • Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments.
  • Assure project execution in accordance with the cost allocations that are budgeted.
  • Leading customer witness testing (FAT) of the designed systems.
  • Participating in process and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting team building and mentor junior engineers.
  • Traveling for site surveys, customer meetings as needed.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a bachelors in science/Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics.
  • Have minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Have excellent written and spoken communication in English, with demonstrated capability to structure and write technical material.
  • Have good project engineering management and workflow co-ordination skills.
  • Have strong analytical, technical writing, and organizational skills.
  • Have knowledge of rotating machinery systems operation and controls.
  • Be a self-starter with minimal supervision requirement ability to prioritize, organize work and meet deadlines.
Desired Characteristics
  • Knowledge of Bently Nevada machinery protection and management systems products and services.
  • Project Engineering / Testing Engineer / Field Services / Maintenance experience / Condition Monitoring Engineer (working with instrumentation, control systems) in energy and/or oil & gas environment or relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical aptitude, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial agency approvals.
  • Strong computer and network skills with familiarity of MS office products.
