The priorities of this role include:? Preparation of Highways design reports, designs and specifications? Investigation, concept and detailed designs for roads and bridges projects.? Complete data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and design, prepare design drawings and specifications and solve design problems as required.? Specify field investigations to collect design information.? Review and assess existing Master Plans.? Develop Master Planning preliminary designs.? Preparation/Reviewing of technical specifications.? Promote and improve inter-discipline working with other disciplines.? Operate to the Quality Assurance system, quality control and document management in line with current policy.? Identify and meet effectively the requirements and expectations of clienb.Key Requirements and Characteristics :? The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.? Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.? Excellent report writing skills, experience of attending meetings with clients andauthorities.? Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
