Qualifications:? Graduate of at least Vocational Course? Minimum 5 years of experience as Heavy Equipment Generator Mechanic? Experienced and competent in use of machine tools and measuring instruments, including lathe and drill, calipers, micrometers, telescopic, trammel and pressure gauges; high speed diesel alternators, special tools required for the jobs.? Strong knowledge of Diesel Driven Generator such as:? Make: GEC Alsthom Ruston Diesels? Model/Type: 8RKC? Capacity: 2000? Speed: 900 RPM? Can Perform the General Maintenance 1250 running hours up to 60, 000 running Hours.? Can do without supervision a major overhauling and engine fault findingTask Description:? Repairs and maintains the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines.? Responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered equipment. Their duties include running diagnostic tests to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the equipment they have serviced.? Reads and interprets mechanical drawings.? Performs other duties as required.
