REPORTING TO: Site Engineer RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT: To efficiently manage the day to day construction activities of the Project in consultation with the Site Engineers and to report on these activities to the Construction ManagerPOSITION RESPONSIBILITY: ? Assesses equipment, materials and labor needed to complete large and/or complex construction tasks for the purpose of ensuring that activities meet the project standards and resolve defined issue(s) while reducing wasted resources. ? Assists in the personnel management of resources for the purpose of maintaining staffing needs and productivity of the work force. ? Coordinates the services and activities of outside contractors, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring that work is completed in a safe, effective and timely manner. ? Directs assigned staff in resolving complex and/or difficult issues for the purpose of ensuring that work locations are maintained in a safe and effective working environment. ? Maintains a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and complying with regulatory requirements and established guidelines. ? Maintains assigned tools, equipment and vehicle(s) for the purpose of ensuring their availability as needed to meet assigned objectives. ? Performs a wide variety of skilled construction related activities for the purpose of ensuring that work issues are resolved and projects are completed in a safe, effective and timely manner. ? Prepares a variety of project-mandated documents and reports for the purpose of documenting activities and complying with the requirements. ? Prioritizes and assigns related work orders to skilled labors for the purpose of ensuring that locations are maintained in a safe working environment meeting guidelines and budgetary limits. ? Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
