Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Coordinator who has previously worked in an accounting / finance department, preferably in facilities management, to perform daily accounting and finance tasks. / RoleReporting directly to the Finance manager the finance coordinator will conduct financial reporting entries and other daily accounting tasks.The finance coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Record and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Update accounts receivable.
  • Processes supplier invoices troubleshoots and resolves issues.
  • Reviews all cheque processing and fund transfers.
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Prepares and submits subcontractors payment reports.
  • Prepares monthly accounts reconciliations and resolve any outstanding items.
  • Supports our Operations personnel and respond to any ad-hoc requests from them.
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Assist with other accounting projects
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
