The English Coordinator – Primary Section is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the English curriculum for primary students. This role ensures high-quality English teaching standards, supports teachers with resources and training, and monitors students’ progress to enhance language proficiency and literacy skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and update the English curriculum for the primary sectionCoordinate and support English teachers through lesson planning, resources, and professional developmentMonitor and assess students’ progress in English language skillsOrganize workshops, training sessions, and development programs for teachersCollaborate with other academic coordinators to integrate English learning across subjectsMaintain and update teaching materials and resourcesConduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachersEncourage innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement and learning outcomesCommunicate with parents regarding curriculum updates, student progress, and eventsEnsure compliance with school policies and educational standardsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related fieldTeaching certification or diploma in educationExperience teaching English to primary school studentsPrevious experience in a coordination or leadership role preferredStrong knowledge of English language teaching methodologies and curriculum development
