We are looking for Engineering Controller for Saudi ArabiaJob Summary The purpose of this position is to monitor and control of the power network and traction in feed substations to ensure the safety of operations for Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro, to provide technical support to the Operations Control Room, to implement and manage the possessions and isolations imposed on the Metro system. Responsibilities:Acknowledging, gathering and recording essential information within the MMS upon receipt of initial fault reports Conducting initial remote fault diagnosis then verifying and prioritizing the reported faults Communicating fault information and work orders to either responsible first line maintenance team or to the rapid response team for remedial works Communicating with the Power Controller and Traffic Controller to provide support to corrective maintenance activities by arranging provision of special trains, track access and/or temporary isolation of traction power equipment etc. Supporting and facilitating field staff repair works in the trouble scene by summoning support from technical support staff based in depot and/or specialist from the system suppliers/subcontractor Coordinate and keep the Duty Maintenance Service Manager (during Hajj), Chief Controller, Traffic Controller, and Depot Controller informed in the event of a failure and during the takeover and hand back of the railway, start-up and shut-down of service each day Monitoring system performance and preparing fault reporting and failure statistics via the Maintenance Management System (MMS) Liaise with the Maintenance Planning & Control team on the preparation of maintenance reports, work order etc. Perform shift and emergency duties when required Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Duty Maintenance Service Manager and Chief Controller
