Minimum Requirements:As the successful candidate you will have:A bachelor degree in Chemical or Energy Engineering.At least ten years of work experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years spent as an Energy Engineer.Expertise with energy KPI calculations like energy intensity.Efficiency at plant and equipment level.Professional certification in the energy industry is strongly preferred.Fluency in English, both verbal and written.Duties & Responsibilities:You will be required to perform the following:Ensure energy compliance and efficiency.Develop and deliver training material to promote energy awareness among refinery personnel.Work with the refinery team to identify energy saving opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operations.Analyze and monitor refinery energy use on a daily basis, and conduct energy audits.Monitor refinery energy intensity indicators and control them toward energy efficiency.Review the development, design or construction of new projects to ensure compliance with energy standards.Conduct jobsite observations, field inspections or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses.Maintain, write and revise energy documentation and procedures.
