SummaryEssential Responsibilities and Duties2. Assists in the evaluation of new methodologies/equipment. Assists in the revision of policy and procedure manuals in accordance with specified guidelines.3. Orients, trains, provides continuing education and guides lower graded personnel, other Laboratory and health care personnel, students and residents. Implements and maintains appropriate Laboratory safety procedures and practices.4. Ensures that optimum levels of supplies are available to provide uninterrupted services. Informs Reproductive Biologist/Supervisor of any operational or technical problems.5. Performs technical duties as assigned including weekends, night-shifts and on-call coverage.6. Participates in and contributes to quality improvement activities.7. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.EducationExperience RequiredGrade 10:.Four (4) years as Embryologist at KFSH&RC..One hundred (100) hours of cumulative continued medical education [CME].Other Requirements(Certificates).Independently performed 50hands-on ICSI / embryo biopsy cases and demonstrates clear understanding of ART techniques.
